Heriot-Watt University has around 7,000 on-campus students in Scotland and we have a long tradition of welcoming students from all over the world. Nearly a third of the on-campus student population in Scotland is from outside the UK. This international focus creates a very cosmopolitan environment - approximately 10,000 students from 150 countries world-wide are currently studying on international programmes.
The friendly team in the International Recruitment Office is likely to be your first port of call if you are an international or European non-graduating student. The team is here to provide advice on the best course of study. Our knowledge of qualifications throughout the world is unsurpassed, therefore, along with admissions tutors, we can offer you a comprehensive and rapid response to any query relating to courses or life at Heriot-Watt.
Heriot-Watt University offers a welcoming approach and a superb environment for postgraduate study and top-level research. The University is recognised internationally for excellent teaching and research in its specialist areas of science, engineering, business management, languages and textile design. Our International Recruitment Office welcomes applications and enquiries from overseas students and offers comprehensive guidance on international qualifications, English language courses and any other information regarding study and research at Heriot-Watt.
