Heriot-Watt University offers a welcoming approach and a superb environment for postgraduate study and top-level research. We hope that the relevance and quality of our programmes, our excellent study environment and the commitment and talent of our staff will attract those of you thinking of undertaking graduate study to come and join around 1,000 Masters students and 400 research on-campus postgraduates, or to become one of our off-campus students studying throughout the world. Heriot-Watt University has around 7,000 on-campus students in Scotland and we have a long tradition of welcoming students from all over the world. Nearly a third of the on-campus student population in Scotland is from outside the UK. This international focus creates a very cosmopolitan environment - approximately 10,000 students from 150 countries world-wide are currently studying on international programmes.
