Funding the Future
The Alumni Fund was founded to enhance campus life in all its aspects for students. With the generous help of many alumni and friends of Heriot-Watt University, the Fund has created life-changing opportunities for individual students. With the generous help of many alumni and friends of Heriot-Watt University, the Alumni Fund has created life-changing opportunities for individual students. Every year, 40 talented students with challenging or difficult circumstances are supported by an Alumni Fund scholarship. The Welfare Office has been able to extend its provision for student hardship and so has helped many students stay on course for their degrees. In addition, many recent graduates are reconnecting with the University to take part in career planning workshops, act as role models and a source of inspiration to their successors.
If you would like to give to the Alumni Fund, your support will be most welcome and will benefit today's students at Heriot-Watt. Regular donations are invaluable to us as they allow long-term planning of funding (especially necessary in the case of scholarships, for instance) and flexibility to respond to need as it arises. Depending on your own circumstances however, you can make your donation by credit card, cheque, and a number of other payment options.
