Policies governing the use of University facilities are available here. These include, for example, staff use of the University's conference facilities.

This 'good practice' website has been created to encourage and empower staff and students to make a direct contribution towards achieving sustainability throughout the University. By working together we can minimise waste, reduce our negative impact on the environment, and help to save valuable resources and our own money. Recycling information and the University Transport Plan are outlined.

Estate and Building Services provide, maintain and develop a safe and high quality environment, in a professional, efficient and cost effective manner to enable the University to fulfil its mission. The Estate Office's operational area encompasses an extremely wide range of activities including capital developments, maintenance, minor works, estate administration and management, and central support services.
