These guidelines are designed to ensure consistent, co-ordinated application of the University's visual identity through all our communications and marketing. This will help increase recognition and raise our profile. The appearance of our campuses, the way information is presented and the way we appear in the media all influence how the University is perceived. A strong and easily recognisable visual identity is central.
Briefings and summaries are issued by The Court and Senate recording their regular meetings. Monthly summaries from Court, Senate, Planning & Management Executive and its boards to keep you informed of important strategic, project, funding and policy developments as well as important news affecting the University are also accessible here.
The Press and Public Relations team aims to provide an effective corporate publicity and public relations service for Heriot-Watt, to promote and enhance the University's corporate image and reputation on a local, national and international level. The team has responsibility for media enquiries, corporate publications, internal communications, publicising news and events, managing the corporate university website and corporate brand, co-ordinating community relations activities and providing professional support and guidance to staff in their marketing and promotional communications.
