Documentation to explain and support the University's approval procedures for programmes, courses and modules is collected here. Proposals for programmes, courses and modules which are being introduced, modified or withdrawn have to go to the Undergraduate/Postgraduate Studies Committee for approval or notification. The approval process is indicated together with the paperwork required and the information that is added to ISS. Schools can approve certain modifications without having to put forward a proposal in particular circumstances.
Any undergraduate student wishing to change modules should complete a Module Change Form and return it to the appropriate School Office for processing, before the end of week 3 in each term. Any change applications received after week 3 will be charged a fee. (Dubai Campus students should return the form to the Students Services Office and note that requests received after week 3 will not normally be accepted).
Students opting to study one or more course modules additional to those required to achieve their final qualification will incur an additional fee. You will also be charged if you have to repeat modules following unsuccessful reassessment. However, if a School or Institute requires you to study additional modules, you will not be required to pay a fee.
