The Press and Public Relations team aims to provide an effective corporate publicity and public relations service for Heriot-Watt, to promote and enhance the University's corporate image and reputation on a local, national and international level. The team has responsibility for media enquiries, corporate publications, internal communications, publicising news and events, managing the corporate university website and corporate brand, co-ordinating community relations activities and providing professional support and guidance to staff in their marketing and promotional communications.

University Information & Computing Services (UICS) provide, maintain and support the corporate IT systems, which are available to all staff and students of the University.
