This document defines the roles of two Boards of PME (Research Co-ordination Board and Learning & Teaching Board) and the roles and responsibilities of their academic members - School Directors of Research, and Learning & Teaching.

The Research Co-ordination Board (RCB) supports the Deputy Principal (Research) in the provision of research management, co-ordination and leadership across the University. The RCB develops the strategy, policies, structure and procedures for the enhancement and facilitation of research activity, including postgraduate students. The RCB reports to the Planning & Management Executive and has close and effective communications with Senate.
