Research in the School of Managment & Languages is supported by a wide range of organisations, including the Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC), the European Union (EU), the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD), the World Bank and various government departments in the UK and overseas.
Research in the School of the Built Environment offers a unique range of educational opportunities in the planning, design, construction and development of environment and infrastructure. Research activity is structured in three institutes: Institute for Infrastructure and Environment, Institute for Building and Urban Design and Institute for Housing, Urban and Real Estate Research.
